Have you heard? Royal weddings are all the rage now. OK, two doesn’t really mean it’s a trend, but there really is another royal wedding happening in 2018. Following the announcement of Prince Harry and Meghan Mrakle’s engagemant last November, Kensington Palace has confirmed that Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie is set to wed longtime boyfriend Jack Brooksbank. According to the announcement, the couple, who became engaged while in Nicaragua earlier this month, will tie the knot in Autumn 2018 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, where Harry and Meghan will wed in May.

As per (recent) royal tradition, official engagement photos of Eugenie and Jack were released:
As the BBC notes, Eugenie is wearing an Erdem dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, and a padparadscha sapphire ring surrounded by diamonds. The BBC adds that Eugenie will keep her royal title after her wedding and will have the option to take his last name.
Following the engagement announcement, Eugenie’s mom, Sarah Ferguson, took to Twitter to celebrate the news:

Eugenie openly spoke about her life with Jack in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in 2016. According to Eugenie, a typical night for the couple is almost always in front of the television. “When I’m with Jack, we watch The Walking Dead, which we’re obsessed with. Maybe Game of Thrones is our next thing. I don’t watch reality shows, but I love cooking programs.” If it’s not breaking too much royal protocol, might I suggest breaking out of the shell a wee bit and throwing a GoT-themed wedding party?
